The
National Park of Ordesa, with an area of 15.608 hectares, covers the valleys born in "Las Tres Serols": Añisclo, Escuain, Pineta y Ordesa. Its mountainsides are covered by thick forests of Beechtrees, Fir Trees and Black Pines. The Arazas River falls in spectacular waterfalls among crags and trees.
It's a suitable place for ramblers because of its great variety of paths, and for mountaineers, due to its high peaks of more than 3000 m of height.
The National Park's classic entrances are from Torlo, Broto o Bielsa.
The adjacent valley to Ordesa, and also interesting, is Bujaruelo. The
Ara River runs through it. Famous for its Spring rough waters, it is perfect for practicing one of the hardest white-water rafting, The valley of Bujaruelo meets the valley of Ordesa half way between
Torla and the grasslands of Ordesa.
The westernmost valley of the ancient County of Sobrarbe is Broto valley and its tourist towns, such as Broto, Sarvisé, Oto, Asin. From there, the canyon of Anisclo, one of the four valleys that make up the National Park, can be reached.
From the
Bielsa Valley and the waters of the Cinca River, we will reach the National Park through Pineta,
Monte Perdido. The towns of this valley that stand out are Ainsa, Boltaña, Bielsa, Laspuña, Tella. Surprising for its extraordinary natural places, the National Park of Posets-Maladeta has its entrance in the east valley of Chistau.
